My wife and I moved to Reedsport a little over five years ago after getting married and making the trip to the Oregon coast in an RV. We fell in love with the community the first time we drove through town and were fortunate to buy a home here about three years ago.
This past year has been a big one for our family. We welcomed our first child, who just turned one in July, and we also lost my father after a battle with cancer.
Professionally, I hold a master's degree from Clemson University and a bachelor's degree from Central Michigan University. While I currently work in landscaping here in Reedsport, I've spent much of the last 25 years working on local, state, and national political campaigns. I also briefly served on my hometown city council and have been involved with organizations including the Lions Club and Knights of Columbus.
Since moving here, I've become involved in ultrarunning, and some people may have seen posts about my recent 100-mile run around Reedsport.

Over the last two years I have attended City Council meetings and I served on the City's Budget Committee and Urban Renewal Advisory Committee because I believe if you want things to improve, you have to be willing to get involved.
Most importantly, I'm a husband, a dad, and someone who cares deeply about Reedsport and its future. We also share our home with a 14-year old black lab who has made the move and every adventure right alongside us.
